Fusion for Energy has been requested by the ITER Organization to nominate candidates who could be invited by the ITER Organization to provide support for “Supplying Control, Data Access and Communications systems (CODAC) for the Instrumentation and Control Systems (I&C) and decide on a solution for procurement” as described at the present document.

Candidates shall be established in the territory of a Member of Fusion for Energy (EU Member States as well as Switzerland) and shall have work experience and a recognized level of expertise, competence and references in the field of study.

Suitable candidates shall express their interest with the appropriate reference number and contact information (i.e. company name, full address (no post office box), contact person, telephone and fax number, e-mail address and web- page) by e-mail (ITER-Calls@f4e.europa.eu) quoting the reference number of this call for nominations and no later than 17th January, 2009.

ITER: Technical and economic issues for European industrialists (Training)

The main objectives of this training course implemented by ARVENA TA and APAVE are to present the ITER project from a technical and organizational point of view and to understand the specificities of the regulatory controls to be applied. 

The Session will take place in Cadarache, near ITER site and will also be an ideal opportunity for developing exchanges and information sharing between European industrialists. 

Dates of training: 4th and 5th of June, 1st and 2nd of October and 26th and 27th of November 2008.

INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS FORUM ON ITER

On 10th – 14th December is there an International Conference on ITER Business Opportunities organized by the French ITER Industrial Committee and the CEA (the French Atomic Energy Commission – Commissariat à l’Energie Atomique).
